LogPlot2003 has several major improvements for our clients in the petroleum industry for displaying their well logs. LogPlot2003 gives you the tools needed to design your well logs to easily display reservoir attributes.

New LogPlot2003 features for the oil and gas industry:
• Display all your lithology, elog and stratigraphic data in one well log or multiple well logs. Design a template or use one of the preexisting templates to display your data as a continuous log. The new interface makes designing and displaying your easier than ever.
• The new orientation tab allows the user to show true depth for deviated and inclined boreholes on the scale bar.
• The LAS import tool has been improved to seamlessly read UNIX files with TABS in addition to the DOS logs imported in the previous version - No conversion tool needed. The min/max s display can ignore, display or replace null values with text
• The LAS importer now creates a text report that summarizes the imported data - helpful for creating or editing your Log Design File. The Importer also creates a basic Log Design for you, making it easy to add your own headers/footers and additional data items

LogPlot2003 is a commonly used boring log software tool in both the environmental and geotechnical industries. LogPlot2003 gives the user the capability to create a large number of high quality logs in a fraction of the time it would take to use a CAD product or other logging programs. Use fill bars to show sample intervals and types, or the presence of NAPLs or other contaminants! Show blow counts, contaminant concentrations, recovery, RQD, and other parameters as downhole histograms or text entities. Use USCS and lithology patterns included with the program or create your own in-house patterns and symbols. Include detailed notes in your Lithologic descriptions and in Header and Footer notes, with flexible text formatting. Include dashed, dotted, and colored contacts between your lithologic units. LogPlot offers detailed well construction diagrams which can illustrate single or multiple borings. Log headers and footers can include text, images (logos, map locations), pattern and symbol legends, lines and rectangles. Display your logs at defined vertical scales, or fit them automatically to the page.
